A vitamin? A pill? A supplement? A massage?

I recently had a chat with someone who came across my website and work. They asked: “What is Vitametik? Is it a vitamin, a pill, a supplement? Ah—it’s a massage?”
No, Vitametik is none of those.
Vitametik is a holistic approach to relieving stress symptoms. It’s a relaxation method that tunes into your body’s own language. Let's have a look: what is Vitametik?
Vitametik is an unusual word—because it’s made up. It combines two roots: Vita, the Latin word for life, and metik, derived from the Greek word cosmetic or cosmos, meaning order or balance. Together, Vitametik means life in balance.

What do we need to achieve balance in our lives? To answer that, we need to look at what throws us off balance. One of the biggest disruptors is the stress/relaxation balance—and it can even affect your physical balance.
Imagine a scale with two bowls: one filled with stress, the other with relaxation. If we keep adding to the stress side—and everyone’s stressors are different—the scale tips. Our bodies stay in a constant state of fight or flight.
Why fight or flight? Because when we’re stressed, our bodies adapt to help us survive. That means increased heart rate, faster breathing, higher blood pressure, and more muscle tension—just to name a few. But after each stressful event, there should be a wave of relaxation that flows through the body.
What happens if we never allow that wave to come? If we keep filling our lives with stressors and don’t make space for true relaxation, our bodies stay stuck in high alert. Heart rate, blood pressure, and muscle tension remain elevated. Chronic muscle tension, in particular, can lead to spinal and pelvic misalignment. When the pelvis lifts on one side, it can create a leg length difference.

This misalignment can cause a wide range of symptoms, which vary from person to person. For example:
Client | Leg Length Difference | Symptoms & Background |
1 | 2 cm | 4+ years of lower back pain, mainly due to poor posture |
2 | 2 cm | Discomfort in one leg for 2 years after a hamstring injury on the opposite leg |
3 | 5 cm | Pain in the right shoulder, lower back pain, and neck discomfort from whiplash |
4 | 1 cm | Knee and hip pain following a leg injury about a year ago |
Interestingly, all these clients had a physical stressor—often on the opposite side of the original injury.
This is where Vitametik comes in. Vitametik uses a gentle pressure impulse on the side of the neck. This impulse mimics the frequency of a relaxed muscle and nerve, reminding the body to release chronic muscle tension.
With each session, we work toward improving leg length difference. While the difference may appear corrected after a single session, it takes time for the body and mind to adopt and maintain this new—but actually normal—state of muscle tension.
With multiple weekly sessions, your body learns to hold this relaxed state. You’ll see the leg length difference decrease over time—and you’ll feel the benefits: better sleep, less discomfort, and a greater sense of well-being.
Will it stay that way? In theory, yes—but it depends on your lifestyle. Vitametik supports a more relaxed life and can be used regularly as part of your wellness routine. What it can’t do is remove the stressors themselves. If you live a highly stressful life, you’ll keep filling your stress bucket—and your body will return to imbalance.
That’s why it’s important to practice daily relaxation. Vitametik is a powerful tool in that practice. It helps activate your parasympathetic nervous system—your “rest and digest” mode. With regular sessions, you’ll become more resilient to stress.
For prevention, you won’t need weekly sessions. You can choose the rhythm that suits you: monthly, every other month, once a quarter…
